Csilla has cross-cultural experience in international education and the private business sector. Prior to co-founding Intercultural Focus (HSL), she garnered intercultural experience, first during her undergraduate work through travel and study abroad, then through professional experience and academic study. Csilla worked in education as an international student advisor and coordinator of international admission for Marymount College in Los Angeles, where she traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia before relocating to work as an Educational Advisor for the Fulbright Commission in Budapest, Hungary. Csilla returned to the US to receive her Master's degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University in Boston, MA, during which time she also worked with professionals from all over the world in the high-tech field, orienting them to U.S. business practices and culture.
Csilla currently resides in Los Angeles, where she is the Director of International Outreach for Loyola Marymount University. As part of Intercultural Focus, Csilla provides intercultural training for top executives relocating to the USA, management and diversity training for domestic companies as well as overseas companies establishing branches in the US. Csilla also provides special training for families of executives, settling into a new community and culture. She is fluent in Hungarian, conversant in German and Spanish, and hopes that she can greet you in your native tongue! Theresa Ho is a cross-cultural training consultant. A dual national of Canada and Taiwan , Ms. Ho returned to Canada in spring of 2005 after living abroad in Japan , Romania and the U.S. over the period of five years. During this time, she accrued experience in intercultural and language training. She worked in the international education and government sector in enhancing internationalization in these countries by promoting cross-cultural and international education exchange within local communities and universities. Ms. Ho promoted Canadian studies, taught English as a second language, facilitated cross-cultural orientations, acted as a mentor to youths who are interested in working and studying abroad, while also acted as an international student advisor. She also has experience working with oil and gas companies where she coordinated international projects for employees of large global oil and gas companies to come to Canada for trades training.
These experiences have recently spawned her interest in providing personal career and cross-cultural coaching for new immigrants, partners of relocated employees. Ms. Ho has an M.A. degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University . She received her B.A. degree in Business from the University of Calgary and spent a summer abroad studying in China . She is fluent in English, proficient in Mandarin and has basic knowledge of Japanese. |

Chad has experience in both the intercultural and the engineering world. He lectures and consults on both the challenges and the benefits of working with international groups in a variety of settings including; academic, business, diplomatic, not-for-profits and NGOs.
Chad works on and writes about intercultural issues in business and project management. He presented on the impacts of cultural diversity on global business at the 2006 International Business and Economy Conference & The New England Business Administration Association. His articles have been published both in the U.S. and India. He has worked with the Development Consulting firm Trigon in Vienna Austria and worked for the Museum of Afro-American History. Chad also has lectured and taught in a range of academic settings including The Cambridge Center for Adult Education, The New England Institute of Art, Bay Path College, Simmons College, Regis College and MIT .
He has experience as an engineering manager and as a lead in international collaborative projects . Chad has traveled abroad extensively and has lived in Italy and Austria. Chad holds a Masters in Intercultural Relations and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering Technology. |
